NFTs & Collections — Frequently Asked Questions
How do I mint an NFT?
Go to the 'Create' page, upload your digital asset (image, video, audio), add metadata (name, description, properties), set your royalty percentage, and click 'Mint'. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
What file formats are supported?
We support JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, MP4, WEBM, MP3, WAV, OGG, and GLB/GLTF formats. Maximum file size is 100MB for images and 1GB for videos.
What are NFT collections?
Collections are groups of related NFTs created by the same artist or project. Creating a collection allows you to organize your work and build your brand on MintyBlocks.
Can I edit my NFT after minting?
Once minted on the blockchain, the NFT metadata is immutable. However, you can update the listing price, description, and other marketplace-specific details.
How do I create a collection?
Navigate to your profile, click 'Create Collection', add collection details (name, description, banner image, logo), and submit. You can then mint individual NFTs into this collection.
What are unlockable content and properties?
Unlockable content is private data (download links, codes, messages) accessible only to NFT owners. Properties are traits that make your NFT unique and filterable in the marketplace.
Can I mint multiple editions of the same NFT?
Yes! During minting, you can specify the number of editions. Each edition will be a unique token with the same artwork but different token IDs.
What are lazy minting and gasless minting?
Lazy minting allows you to create NFTs without paying gas fees upfront. The NFT is minted on-chain only when someone purchases it, with the buyer covering the gas costs.
